GFRP REBAR

Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Rebar

 It is a lightweight material that is 1/4 the weight of existing reinforcing bars and has 3 times stronger tensile strength. It does not rust and corrode, making it the most suitable new material for civil engineering and buildings where maintenance of reinforcing bars is frequent due to water and chloride.

Carbon emission, which is a major issue worldwide, is also 75% lower than that of rebar production

Due to its non-conductive insulation properties, there is no heat transfer, so there is little damage and it is used instead of reinforcing bars to minimize electromagnetic wave interference.

It is widely known as a more expensive material than rebar, but its lightweight and long-lasting advantage lowers incidental and maintenance costs.
